The SALT Foundation can support you so that you can achieve improved health and wellbeing so that you can be strong, fit, and full of energy and happiness.

Take part in recreational activities to build your wellbeing through socialisation, fitness, and more. You can increase your physical health and fitness through the help of our personal trainers where you can build skills and train through physical activity.

We can help you achieve your health, wellbeing, fitness, strength, and other goals so that you can increase your physical capacity and ability to reach your potential.

Physical fitness can help you perform your personal activities with ease and can build and maintain independence.

We can help you set and achieve your health and wellbeing goals so that you can live a healthy and fulfilling life.

Improved Health and Wellbeing help you live a fit life where you can achieve your needs, goals, and everyday tasks with ease.

Developing your health and wellbeing enables the growth of independence and confidence in your life. Improving your physical fitness evokes a sense of achievement which is positive for your mental health as well.

  • Improve your physical health through physical fitness
  • Increase your wellbeing through fitness and living a healthy lifestyle where you can feel fulfilled

What Do Improved Health and Wellbeing Activities Look Like?

  • Personal training 
  • Grocery shopping and meal preparation, set a meal plan suitable for your needs, likes, and dislikes
  • Express your feelings in a safe space where you will feel heard and understood
  • Help attending gym or exercise classes, sports groups or clubs
  • Creating an exercise plan appropriate for you and your abilities to develop your strength and mobility
  • Working on your health goals

How can I access this support?

If you have Capacity Building funding for Improved Health and Wellbeing” in your NDIS Plan, then you can access this support from us.

Funding in your plan is flexible and is used to meet your needs. If you’d like this support, then let your Support Coordinator or Support Worker know. 

If you don’t know if you have this funding in your plan, then also speak with your Local Area Coordinator or the NDIS on 1800 800 110.
