ABOUT THE ROLE

We have several vacancies available throughout Melbourne for experienced Disability Support Workers. This a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in proving home and community access. Working with the Salt Foundation you will play a vital role in supporting our participants in to pursuing their interests, developing new skills, achieve their lifestyle goals and to be valued as equal member in the community. Your role may involve helping with all aspects of daily living including meals, personal care, assistance with everyday household tasks and meaningful engagement within their home and community environments.

Most importantly, it's importnat you have a passion and desire to help and support others:
• Clear and effective communications skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record management
• Initiative and self-motivation
• A positive and professional approach
• Flexibility and availability is essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, morning, day and afternoon
• Relevant qualifications are highly desirable, however, someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be considered.

  2. Current Driver’s License 
  3. Proof of current car insurance
  4. Proof of current car registration
  5. COVID Vaccination – Evidence of three vaccinations
  6. First Aid & CPR – Copy of your current First Aid and CPR certificates
  7. Relevant training – Please include any relevant education obtained
  8. Working with Children’s Check WWCC
  9. A photo of yourself (The photo will be added to your ID Card)
